Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop 1

Hello Everyone,

In class today we learned about the basics of Adobe Photoshop and what it is used for. Photoshop is ONLY used for editing pictures. It is set in pixels and is rasterized. You can edit photos,  create photo illustrations, and effects. However, out of all the Adobe programs, Photoshop is used the least.

Website and camera pictures are rasterized/pixelated. It measures its images in ppi or pixels per inch. and it is best to work in RGB with a screen image.

The colors in Photoshop are set the RGB - Red, Green, and Blue.

We aslo learned about other colors and what they are used for like:

CYMK - For print (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, K=Black)

Grayscale- Printing newspapers

Hex Colors (six colors) - Web colors
